I am a Scottish & Haudenosaunee (Onʌyotaʼá꞉ka/Oneida) independent lawyer and consultant based in so-called Vancouver.

I have spent 7 years weaving Indigenous and public interest environmental law, advancing legally pluralistic law and policy frameworks that enable intersectional justice, Indigenous stewardship, and reconciliation.

I am a leading voice on environmental justice law, transboundary mining pollution solutions and provincial mining reform, biodiversity frameworks at various scales of government, and associated economic reform.

I advise Crown and Indigenous governments, non-profit organizations, charities, and networks, helping redefine and build Indigenous governance laws and environmental management structures, including Rights of Nature, that embrace systems-transformation towards relational justice.

I am passionate and knowledgeable about reconciliation governance, always finding innovative ways to forge institutional accountability and cultural safety.

With many years experience leading institutional reconciliation initiatives alongside my law reform and advocacy practice, I have gained immense perspective and skill on how to not just commit to but embody reconciliation, and in the process build resilient and connected work forces and movements.

I am a certified yoga teacher and pilates enthusiast. Hiking is one of my favourite past times, as is dancing to live music and laughing with family and friends. I bring my heart to my work, and seek to build authentic, driven community in all that I do.
